The Checkpoint 300, or "Gilo checkpoint" separates Bethlehem from East Jerusalem, illegaly occupied since 1967. In 2010, there were 99 fixed checkpoints in the Westbank, restricting freedom of movement, trade, access to health care and education for the palestinians. (www.btslem.org)
